Terri, Schumi, and the SPECIALIZED FSR Stumpjumper XC Pro's installed on the Yakima "Audi Preferred" roof-rack!  No damage to the car due to the rack!
Both of the bikes are identical, except Terri's is a 15" model while mine is a 17" (mine tends to go a lot faster with a lot more style, though!).
Just back at the "put-in" after our first trail experience on the bikes.  After a total of three wipe-outs between the two of us, the day ended due to a punctured rear-tube on my bike.  Fortunately, when mountain biking, you bike prepared.  We had a pump, glueless patches, and a spare tube, all available on the trail!
Bike is all fixed!  Only put 3.5 miles on the bikes this afternoon (3/4), but we were SPENT!  For the excursion, our heart rates averaged about 180 bpm!
The bikes are 27-speed pure-bred mountain bikes.  Linear brakes, Formula 1-type gear shifters (thumb=downshift, index-finger=upshift), "step-into" pedals, aluminum frames, magnesium components, and multi-functional trip computers.
Front and rear full suspension!

Keep an eye on this page as we will continue to take more pictures of our "adventures" on Central Indiana trails!
